At re:gen, we talk a lot about this passage from the letter Paul wrote to Titus,

"For we also once were foolish ourselves, disobedient, deceived, enslaved to various lusts and pleasures, spending our life in malice and envy, hateful, hating one another. But when the kindness of God our Savior and His love for mankind appeared, He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewing by the Holy Spirit, whom He poured out upon us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior, so that being justified by His grace we would be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life." -(Titus 3:3-7 NASB)

This passage is so important to us because we see ourselves in it. We all have been on the path that has led us to hurt and brokenness. No matter how hard we have tried to change things on our own, we find ourselves still stuck in the muck and mire.

But (the transitional word in that passage that shows God's redemptive plan for our lives) we don't have to stay there because God has a plan for our regeneration and renewal.

Each week at re:gen, we work on making following Jesus our way of life, which draws us closer to God. And that's the secret sauce to facing the struggles from addictions, past hurts, or destructive patterns. We learn our hope is in God and that he accepts us as His children.

Join us for re:gen at 6:30 p on Tuesdays and see that hope we talk about.
