Crossroads has had a very busy February with large events, conferences, new staff starting, baptisms, memberships, and more. We are amazed at how much we did in this short month. Here is a look at some of our ministry highlights from the month of February.

BAPTISMS

We celebrated two baptisms in February. Don Salomon and Makena Rutters were baptized this month. We loved getting to celebrate with them and walk them into this new stage of their discipleship walk.

NEXT LEVEL LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE

Our ministry staff and elders attended the Next Level Leadership Conference at Compassion Christian Church in Savannah Georgia. Our team enjoyed the time together as well as getting to learn a lot from this impactful church and other church leaders.

NIGHT TO SHINE

We hosted our annual Night to Shine in February and even with the rain, we had 303 guests attend with over 600 family members, caregivers, volunteers, and vendors on campus. It was an incredible night of fellowship, fun, and dancing with members of the special needs community.

MEMBERSHIP

We celebrated a new member Sunday in February and welcomed six new members into our church family. Matthew & Genny Cook, Rob & Cindy Richmond, and Clyde & Carla Kidd have all been attending for a while, went through Discover Crossroads, and wanted to make Crossroads their church. We celebrate them for taking that step and are excited to welcome them into our church family.

BABY BOTTLE FUNDRAISER

For February, we had our annual baby bottle drive for Agape Women's Services of Johnson City. We had our collection Sunday on February 25 and filled over 100 Bottles with cash, check, and coins to donate to this ministry. We are looking forward to seeing how much money we raised as a part of this fundraiser. Thank you to everyone for donating and supporting this ministry.

MISSIONS MOMENT: APPALACHIAN CHRISTIAN CAMP

Appalachian Christian Camp is in Unicoi Tennessee and serves to help kids and students grow in their relationship with God and with other kids. Juan Villalba, who works for Camp ACC, visited Crossroads and shared about the impact Camp ACC has and helped children and students sign up for one of the various weeks of camp available this summer.
