We wrapped up 2024 with a great December at Crossroads. We sent the month in a sermon series titled Born In A Barn, where we looked at the messiness of Christmas. How Christ entered our messy world and lives to give us the hope his life and death bring. We had some of our big annual events this month and ended the month with our Christmas Eve Services. It truly was a great way to end the year!

SPRING 2025 MIDWEEK PROGRAMMING

Riverwood Christmas Trip

On Saturday, December 7, our Student Ministry took almost 40 people to Riverwood Christian Community just outside of Knoxville to bring Christmas Gifts to members of this adult residential community for those living with disabilities. It was a great trip and time for our students and adults to bring Christmas Cheer to a community we have partnered with for years.

An Appalachian Christmas Choir Performance

On Sunday, December 15, our Adult & King's Kids choir presented An Appalachian Christmas, a storytelling and musical event focused on Appalachia. We welcomed local storyteller, Steven James, who shared a few stories while our choir provided some Appalachian takes on classic Christmas songs. It was a fun night of singing and getting into the Christmas Spirit.

Dessert Auction & Bake Sale

During the morning services on December 15, our Student Ministry held its annual Bake Sale, and following the choir performance that evening, they held their Dessert Auction Fundraiser. Dozens of items were sold or auctioned off and our Student Ministry raised over $6000 which will be used to help students go on trips such as the Tennessee Christian Teen Convention coming up in January.

Christmas Eve Services & Christmas Village

On December 24, we held three candlelight Christmas Eve Services. These services focused on telling the story of Christmas and how Christ's birth can impact our lives. Between our services, we had our Christmas Village. This was a fun time of fellowship, food, and fun as a church family!
