As summer begins to wind down and school starts back, we want to turn your attention to the programming we have coming up at Crossroads this fall. There will be lots of fun events, programs, and ministries. So please mark your calendar and participate in the fun things we have coming up. AUGUST

Parking Lot Sale - August 10

Join us on Saturday, August 10 from 8:30 to 1:00 as our campus hosts a variety of vendors for our parking lot sale. There will be food trucks on campus as well as a bake and book sale happening that morning!

Fair Parking - August 19-24

Our annual Student Ministry Fundraiser. Money raised supports student scholarships for the Fall Retreat or Tennessee Christian Teen Convention. Students and Adults can serve at various time slots during the week. You can sign up to serve by clicking the link above. 

Fantasy Football Draft - August 25

Enjoy Fantasy Football? Or want to know what it is all about? Then join our Men's Fantasy Football League. Email Tyler Jorgenson at   to sign up and attend our life draft and lunch on Sunday, August 25 at 12:30.

Crossroads' Adult Choir - August 25

Our adult choir is open to all adults and teens who want to make a joyful noise to the Lord. This fall the choir will be preparing a Christmas program entitled “Appalachian Christmas” which will take place Sunday Evening, December 15. The choir meets each week on Sundays at 5:00 in the Lower Auditorium. The first meeting will be a meal and hang-out time in the Lower Auditorium. Please contact Tempa Bader at  with any questions.

Student Ministry Lake Day - August 25

Our Student Ministry will celebrate the end of the summer with a trip to Boone Lake from 4:00-8:00 PM for a time of food, fellowship, swimming, and worship.

Fall Kick-Off - August 28

Everyone is invited to join us as we kick off the start of our fall semester. There will be free food, inflatables, and lawn games as well as information about all our Midweek programming for kids, students, and adults. Fall Kick-Off will start at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, August 28!


SEPTEMBER

Prayer Night - September 4

For our first week of Midweek Programming this fall, we will be doing something a little different. Our kids' programming will have their normal meetings, but our students and all adults will gather together for a corporate time of prayer and worship to kick off the start of the semester. This worship will run during our normal Midweek Programming hour from 6:30-7:30 PM.

Men's Ministry Breakfast - September 7

Our Men's Ministry will have its first breakfast of the program year on Saturday, September 7 at 9:00 am. All men are invited to come out for a time of breakfast, the annual football toss, and to hear about Crossroads' summer mission trip to Alaska.

Midweek Programming - September 11

Our Midweek Programming does begin on September 4, but September 11 is the first Wednesday our Students and Adult groups will be gathering together. Our Kid's Ministry has programming for kids from birth to 6th grade. Our Student Ministry is for students in 7th-12th grade and our Adults Programming has multiple classes. A Men's Group that will be studying Mark, a Women's Group that will be studying the Book of James, a class on Ephesians, and more.

Combined Men's Retreat - September 13-15

Our Men's Ministry is combining with the Men's Ministries of Bunker Hill Christian Church and Poplar Ridge Christian Church for a combined Men's retreat that will take place at Camp ACC in Unicoi. The cost for the retreat is $100. 


OCTOBER

Connect Night - Lawn Games - October 6

Join us for a fun night of connection, nachos, and community as we host a Connect Night. There will be a variety of lawn games available and a corn-hole tournament.

Candy Carnival - October 26

Our annual Candy Carnival is happening on Saturday, October 26 from 4-6 PM. Wear your best costume and show up for free candy, games, and food!
