Crossroads Kids

Our mission is to partner with families and help each child discover and embrace a growing relationship with Jesus Christ. 

Families matter to us, and we offer a variety of Kid's Ministry opportunities for those from birth through sixth grade during our Sunday Services and on Wednesday Nights. We want to make the most of every moment that we have with your children, and we strive to make Biblical truths come alive.

Early Childhood Programming

NURSERY

Birth through 18 Months. The Nursery is located in the Lower Level Main Worship & Adult Sunday School Building available both hours on Sunday Morning. There are signs from our Lobby directing you to the nursery.

A Parenting Suite is available to parents with young children during any service for feedings, changes, naps, or calming a fussy baby. This suite has a TV where the service can be streamed and is located in the Lower Level Main Worship & Adult Sunday School Building next to the nursery. There are signs to direct you to this suite from our Lobby.

Kid's Worship - Kindergarten through 6th Grade 

*(Our Kids Church environment is designed with K - 4th-grade students in mind, although we welcome all elementary kids who wish to join us. We encourage our 5th & 6th Grade Students to spend the 11:00 hour volunteering within our Kids Ministry worship experiences, or attending worship services with their families.)

Kid's Midweek Programming

Our Midweek programming gives kids of all ages a chance to learn about Jesus, participate in games and learning activities, and have fun together. 

Midweek Programming for Fall 2024 will run on Wednesday nights from September 4 to December 4 from 6:30-7:30 PM.

Fall 2024 Midweek Programming Groups:

  • Elementary Discipleship Class (K - 6th Grade)
  • King's Kids Choir (K - 6th Grade)

Upcoming Kid's Events

Other Kid's Events

Each spring, we celebrate Easter with our Eggstravaganza Easter event. This event has interactive stations where kids learn about the resurrection, hear the story about the first Easter, and of course, participate in an Easter Egg hunt.

Each summer we host a Vacation Bible School, this is a week-long event where kids worship, play games, learn about the Bible, and have fun. VBS happens in June and is open for kids aged 4 to those who have completed 5th grade.

One of Crossroads' mission partners is Camp ACC in Unicoi. This camp offers a variety of summer camps for kids of all ages. Kids who are interested in going can apply for a scholarship. Check out more about the camps here. CAMP ACC

Each summer our church has a church picnic around the 4th of July. This event is for everyone who calls Crossroads home and for kids, there is a special parade. Kids are invited to bring their bikes or scooters decorate them and ride a few laps!

At the end of August, we celebrate the start of our Midweek Programming with the Fall Kick-Off. This event has food, inflatables, and fun, and its a great way to end the summer and start our programming.
