Crossroads Christian Church is proud to partner with over 24 missionaries and organizations, and Hisportic is one of those partnerships. Hisportic Christian mission was started 30 years ago. Their purpose is to reach Portuguese-speaking people worldwide by planting churches, establishing schools, and creating businesses. They are working in the United States, Guinea-Bissau (Africa), and East Timor. As a small picture of their activity, they have been able to plant 50 churches in the United States alone.

Crossroads’ missions committee has set a goal to help our congregation better know our mission partners. One of the ways we can accomplish this goal is by targeting trips to be on location with them. In February 2024, Crossroads wants to send a group to Hisportic’s Campus in Guinea-Bissau, Africa, to assist with some campus development and construction projects to enrich our understanding of what God is doing through Tim, his team, and the local pastors and leaders they are raising up. I’m asking you to join this effort.

There are three ways we want to challenge you to participate:

1. Prayerfully consider going on this trip.

2. Be a prayer partner with those going. Prayer partners serve a critical role by helping to encourage those venturing out. We want everyone who participates in a mission trip to be covered in prayer and encouragement.

3. Help send someone on this trip. We know most of us cannot go on a trip like this, but you can help to sponsor someone.
