May was an exciting month for us at Crossroads. We wrapped up the programming year, blessed our high school seniors, celebrated more baptisms and memberships and we saw a few other end-of-the-year activities and events.
Baptisms
We continued to see people take the next step of faith and declare their allegiance to Jesus through baptism. Kim Jacko, Megan Jacko, and Princess Buckman all took the step of baptism this month. If you are interested in baptism, check out the page below to learn more and to fill out a baptism inquiry form.
Memberships
We continue to see lots of people participating in our Discover Crossroads class and taking the step of becoming members of Crossroads. We are excited to welcome Joseph and Dana Larkin, Stephen and Michael Collins, Darrel and Carol Jenkins, William and Donna English, and Mark and Joanne Manahan to the Crossroads Family. If you would like to learn more about membership or to learn more about our congregation, we encourage you to attend one of our Discover Crossroads classes, you can learn more about this class or sign up for the next one below.
Next Gen Sunday
On May 5, our Student Ministry "took over" our Sunday Worship services. They helped lead worship, greeted, and spoke for communion and the message. We loved having them serve in some upfront ways. We also took a moment to celebrate and bless our graduating seniors as they graduate from high school and begin the next chapter of their life.
"It's a Cover Up"
Our Women's Ministry hosted their annual spring event with the theme, "It's a Cover Up." This event focused entirely on aprons and the stories they hold. Our women loved getting to fellowship together and hear stories to build each other up.
King's Kids
Our Kind's Kids took us underneath the big tent this year for their spring program and presented us with "The Greatest Hymn On Earth." We got to see all kinds of circus acts and hear modern variations of some timeless hymns.
