Join us on Aug 31st for our "Fall Kickoff" as we relaunch our mid-week gatherings at Crossroads. There will be food, inflatables, the fountain in operation for the kids, and just a lot of fun.

Below is a list of mid-week classes and other events for all ages.

Children's Ministry

This fall, your child can pursue one of several opportunities on Wednesday evenings designed to foster biblical principles, instill teamwork, and even develop leadership skills.

1. Kings’ Kids Choir (K-6th Grade) Location: Kids’ Church Room, Upper-Level Children’s Ministry Building

Parents are encouraged to join one of the many adult options during these times. Our nursery will also be available on Wednesday nights for children Birth-24 months from 6:30-7:30 pm.

Student Ministry 

August 7 - Promotion Sunday

On “Promotion Sunday,” we will welcome this year’s new 7th graders during the 9:30 hour in our Student Ministry building. Also, an informational lunch will be provided for our new 7th graders and their families this day
at noon in our Student Ministry Building.

August 22-27 - Fair Parking

This fundraiser helps support our Student and Women’s ministries. Students are encouraged to serve as they can earn money towards trips/events, but we welcome anyone willing to serve. To volunteer, scan the QR code or sign up in the lobby on Sunday mornings.

August 28 - Lake Day!

On this day, we will be partying at the Trents’ home on Boone Lake. Students, please bring a life jacket if you own one. Note: a permission form is required.

September 7 - Wednesday Night Programming Returns

6:30-7:30 pm in our Student Ministry Building

September 11 - Unleashed Youth Conference

On this day, we will be joining with other local youth groups at Poplar Ridge Christian Church in Piney Flats, TN for a time of worship and workshops. Departure/Return times TBD.

October 7-9 - Fall Retreat

We will be sneaking away to Camp ACC in Unicoi for a life-changing weekend.

December 3 - Christmas Party At Riverwood

Our students will be traveling to Louisville, TN, to help our friends at Riverwood Christian Community Celebrate the Christmas season. This is one of our favorite yearly events!

Adults

August 21 - Adult Choir Kickoff!

We are excited to kick off our adult choir in the Pavilion. Please note, that this opportunity is also available to our teenagers who are passionate about singing and sharing the Gospel through music! Bring your favorite snack to share for the kickoff as we begin preparing for this year’s Christmas program. Contact Tempa Bader for more information.

September 6-December 6 - “Grief Share”

This ministry will be meeting each Tuesday night from 6:30-8:30 pm in Room C. Grief Share provides help and encouragement for those who have experienced the death of a spouse, child, family member, or friend. Contact Patrick Chellah for more information.

November 15 - “Surviving The Holidays”

This ministry is designed to help those grieving a loved one’s death. Participants will learn tips for dealing with emotions, navigating change and participating in challenging social events. “Surviving The Holidays” will meet in Room C from 6:30-8:30 pm. Beginning September 7

Women’s Bible Study
All ladies are invited to join us for our study of “Trustworthy” by Lysa

Terkeurst. Participants will need a study book ($17.00). Books will be handed out and payment can be made at your first meeting. This class will be offered in the mornings at 9:30 am in the Lower Auditorium and also at 6:30 pm in the Lobby Classroom. Contact Tempa Bader for more information.

Men’s Bible Study
This fall, we will be studying “7 Challenges Men Encounter” by Vince Miller. Study guides can be purchased on Amazon for $10.00. The men will be meeting in Room 110 from 6:30-7:30 pm.

“Ordinary To Extraordinary”

This Bible study will examine the lives of men and women in the New Testament God used to transform the world. We will look to these individuals for practical lessons about following Jesus, leadership, and even discipling our families. This class will meet in the Lower Auditorium from 6:30-7:30 pm and will be taught by Evan Wolfe.
