The Gideons International is an association of Christian business and professional men and their wives dedicated to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Founded in 1899, The Gideons International is widely recognized for placing Bibles in hotel rooms, but their ministry extends far beyond that. Through personal evangelism and Scripture distribution, they work to make God’s Word accessible to people everywhere.

Their mission is carried out through:

• Personal Witness – Members actively share their faith in Christ in everyday interactions and outreach opportunities.
  
• Scripture Distribution – Providing Bibles and New Testaments to students (5th grade and above), military personnel, first responders, medical workers, prisoners, and others.
  
• Strategic Placement – Placing Scriptures in hotels, hospitals, medical offices, shelters, prisons, and other key locations.
  
• Church Partnership – Working alongside local evangelical churches to fulfill the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19).
